Highlights
- Massive bonus potential (one of the highest bonuses of any card)
- Lounge access
- Expansive list of credits and benefits
Overview
The Platinum Card has a steep fee of $695 per year, but the massive sign up bonus and plethora of bonuses can provide much more than that in value. The highest bonus for this card has been 150,000 Membership Rewards (MR) points + $200 statement credit. In general any 125,000-150,000 bonus is a pretty good offer worth around $2,000-$3,000 in travel when transferred to partners. The card also gives access to Centurion lounges, Delta lounges (when flying Delta), and Priority Pass lounges which have unlimited drinks and buffet style food. The Centurion lounges have particularly good food and if you frequently fly out of an airport with a Centurion lounge this can be an amazing benefit. The Platinum Card has a massive amount of benefits which we will break down and provide a value calculator for below. If you are interested in the card and want to support the blog here is my referral.
